Buick introduced the convertible version of the front wheel drive Reatta in 1990 with a manually-operated top designed by ASC, with a glass rear window and electric defroster. When retracted, the top is protected by a rigid tonneau cover. Intended as a halo car for Buick, convertible production was only 2,132 for the 1990 model year. The Reatta used GM's transverse "Buick 3800" V6 with 165–170 hp and 210–220 lb·ft of torque. And the 4T60 4 speed automatic transmission. This Reatta still includes, the zippered owner's folio, holding the owner's manual, pen, flashlight and tire gauge, as well as a "Craftsman's Log" with the signatures of the supervisors for the car's assembly. Reattas were built in Lansing, MI at the Reatta Craft Center. Specialized teams of workers assembled the car at a series of stations rather than on a conventional assembly line. After a team had completed their portion of the assembly, the car would be moved by robots to the next station.

VIN - 1G4EC33C3LB906460, clear title.

I purchased this car in January 2009 from a Buick collector in Atlanta GA. I have records from prior owners back to 1996. The car now has 133,000 miles on it. This car includes the factory CD player and the 16 way drivers seat; the only 2 options offered. I am a member of the Buick Club of America and the Reatta Division of the BCA. This car has received all the required maintenance and then some, while keeping it as close to original as possible. If you're familiar with these cars, you can see in the lists below that nearly every common maintenance item has been adressed already. The photos at the link below show the car with both top up and down, as well as close ups of the minor chips, etc. The car runs and drives very well.
