This car features the legendary 215 c.i. aluminum V-8. 11.0:1 compression HP version. Engine was professionally rebuilt in 1996 (< 20,000 miles since) and features a high performance camshaft and an Edelbrock 4bbl carb. Original Carb and air cleaner assembly are included with the car. Automatic transmission is the optional dual-path version. Repainted in code N Burgundy in 1994; photos of the restoration and repaint are included with the car. Runs and drives very well. Front tires are new, rear are just a few years old (date codes in the photos). Clear title.
This car has been owned since 1991 by a member of the Buick Club of America. Skylark (model 4300) was the high end model of the Special body type for 1963. It features full length body side moldings, full size wheel covers and the rear cove inserts. The engine is a replacement, but it is year and model correct. Stampings are shown in the photos. You won't find a more affordable way to get into the car hobby. This one is ready to drive, show and enjoy. Plus, the history of the car, the model and the famed Aluminum V-8 is all included.
